Hi! I’m Ella, an artist, designer and nature enthusiast from Gloucestershire.
I design and create products, murals and community projects to share my enthusiasm for the natural world! It is my aim to encourage as many people as possible to love our local flora and fauna and fight for it’s conservation and protection.
This is me on my birthday having just hit the foraging jackpot with a field full of hundreds of Parasol mushrooms!
In 2016 I launched my design brand Luna Lotus from a corner of my childhood bedroom with the support of The Prince’s Trust and my brilliant mentor Paul.
I screen printed t-shirts in the family bathroom and sold them at markets, festivals and pop up shops where I met loads of inspiring creatives.
In 2017 I was selected as a winner of the Tomorrow’s Talent design award, awarded by the retailer Fat Face and The Prince’s Trust.
A range of accessories created with my designs were sold in Fat Face stores nationwide, which was so exciting!
My work has been featured in The Guardian and Hello! magazine.
I began to expand my product range into accessories and home décor. In 2018 and 2019 I ran three successful crowdfunding campaigns to fund the manufacture of my enamel pin collections.
In 2019 I painted my first mural at the Cheltenham Paint Festival and in 2021 I began working with local communities to design and paint murals.
I now run Luna Lotus from my beautiful studio at the amazing Jolt Gloucester, I work as a mural artist and with communities to create public artwork and creative experiences in deprived districts.
