Sparrow – Stoneware Sculpture
£25.00Sparrow stoneware sculpture.
This year I’ve realised just how amazing birds are, a baby wren flew into my house and I had to catch it to release it and I fell in love. I wanted to recreate the magical feeling of holding a tiny bird in your hand with these pieces. They feel really soothing to hold and fit perfectly in your hands. They’re great listeners too and are more than happy to listen to you celebrate your wins and vent your worries.
I carefully sculpt each piece by hand and decorate with glazes. The way I decorated these sparrows didn’t turn out as I’d intended so they are reduced in price compared to the other pieces.
They are waterproof but I’m uncertain if they are frost proof, so best to keep them cosy in the house with you.
